The Pittsfield Department of Community Development Recreation Program seeks applicants for lifeguarding positions as well as the role of Beach Master at the public beach within Burbank Park.
Candidates wishing to be considered for a lifeguard position must be First Aid and CPR certified and possess a current Lifeguarding Certificate; possessing a Waterfront Skills Certificate is strongly recommended.
If interested in becoming a lifeguard for this summer, Lifeguard Certification and/or Re-Certification Courses are offered locally in the next couple of months. Please contact the following locations regarding course offerings:
