A collaborative Veterans Expo will be held 9 a.m. – noon, Thursday, Nov. 12 at the Crowne Plaza in Pittsfield. The free event is designated for military personnel, veterans and their families, as well as those that serve them.
The event will provide attendees with information on job search strategies, veteran benefits and education, senior veteran benefits, wellness activities, and behavioral health services. A complimentary breakfast will be served from 8:30-9:30 a.m., followed by guest speakers Francisco Urena, Secretary of Veterans’ Services for Massachusetts, who will discuss trending veterans’ issues and Jim Clark, Director of Veterans Services for Pittsfield, who will talk on Veterans Aid and Attendance, survivor benefits, and state and local benefits.
