The Berkshire Athenaeum is pleased to announce a free family event!
Please join us on Wednesday, July 29th at 1:00 PM in the children’s department as Beth Canterbuy presents Music and Stories of American War Heroes.
Soprano Beth Canterbury creates a moving educational event examining the human experience of war through music. Combining artistry, deep research and a warm, communicative style, Canterbury takes audiences of all ages on a powerfully emotional journey into the stories of three major wars of the 19th and 20th centuries: the Civil War, WW1 and WW2. As the audience becomes deeply engaged with the artist and material, these concerts become cathartic community events full of tears and laughter.
No registration is required. Ages 5-92. Children under 10 must be accompanied at all times by an adult over 18 years of age. This program is sponsored by the Friends of the Berkshire Athenaeum.
