Antiques 101 - Berkshire Athenaeum - May 30th

The Berkshire Athenaeum, Pittsfield’s Public Library, is hosting Antiques 101, a free program presented by Berkshire County Art and Antiques Dealer Charles L. Flint at 7 pm on Thursday, May 30.

Flint, an art and antiques dealer for 48 years and member of the New England Appraisers Association, will give information on starting Antiquing as an affordable hobby or personal interest, with tips on what to look for, where to visit, engaging stories and some show and tell.

This program is offered as part of Boom! Next Chapter, an initiative providing information and ideas on pursuing a healthy, creative and productive retirement for the generation born 1946 - 1964. The project is a collaboration of the Berkshire Athenaeum; Friends of the Berkshire Athenaeum; Froio Center; and RSVP- Berkshire County with funding provided by an LSTA grant, a Federal source of library funding administered by the Massachusetts Board of Library Commissioners.
