Annual Community Bike Ride Postponed until May 23
The Pittsfield Department of Community Development Recreation Program has announced that due to the gloomy weather forecast, the annual Community Bike Ride event has been postponed until Saturday, May 23.
Join us in kicking off Memorial Day Weekend (and Summer) with a healthy, leisurely, scenic bike ride!
The ride will begin at 10:00am at the Controy Pavilion on Onota Lake at Burbank Park, with rider registration for this FREE event from 9:00 to 9:45am. The route will begin at the Controy Pavilion, head up to Pittsfield State Forest and back to the Pavilion making the ride just under 6 miles round trip; younger riders are encouraged to ride the trail along Onota Lake at Burbank Park.
If you are participating in the Mayor’s Fitness Challenge, participating in this event is an opportunity for bonus points!
