Toys for Tots Campaign Begins

It’s that time of year again when we starting thinking about Toys for Tots!  Help City Hall in its quest to provide as many Toys for Tots boxes as possible for our youngsters in need in the City of Pittsfield.  The Toys for Tots campaign is run by the U.S. Marine Corps Reserve.  Their mission is to, “Collect toys during October, November and December each year, and distribute those toys as Christmas gifts to less fortunate children in the community in which the campaign is conducted.” The Toys for Tots campaign helps spread holiday cheer to everyone in the community, whether you are giving or receiving. Toys must be donated by December 17th.

The gifts donated in Pittsfield and Berkshire County stay in the community; therefore, it is important that we collect as many gifts as possible to help Pittsfield’s children in need.

A Christmas tree in City Hall is waiting for decorations. When a gift is donated, an ornament will be hung on the tree in your honor. Come in, donate a gift and help decorate City Hall’s tree.

If you or someone you know would like to request a gift for a child, you can visit to complete your request.
