Pittsfield Kiwanis- The Kiwanis Club of Pittsfield will be holding the first annual Park of Honor in Park Square on November 1st, and continuing throughout the month. The Park of Honor will consist of rows upon rows of flags displayed in the Park.  On each flag, a yellow ribbon will be tied which will hold a dedication to a particular veteran or group of Veterans from one of the United States Armed Forces.

Mayor Bianchi stated, “The Park of Honor is a unique, innovative way to pay tribute to our Veterans who have done so much for our country.  All of the flags lined up in Park Square will be an amazing site to see.  In November people will be able to walk through the park, read the yellow ribbons and honor the service of the Veterans and US Armed Forces.”
