Road Pothole Managment During The Winter Months for The City of Pittsfield

Mayor Daniel L. Bianchi would like citizens to be aware that there has been an ongoing effort to repair potholes along the streets in the City of Pittsfield.  Priority is given to those roads most heavily traveled, followed by the other streets throughout the city. Weather permitting, this activity is ongoing.  “The delaminated areas where the first layer of blacktop is missing, makes it hard to get the blacktop to stay in those areas during the winter months” stated Peter Bruneau, Superintendent of Public Services for the City.  To report potholes, contact the Department of Public Services at (413)-499-9314 or send a message via the city’s website at: and click into “Report an issue.”
