Inspection Division
The Department of Public Services Inspections Division provides the following services for the residents of Pittsfield:
- Inspects and monitors street/sidewalk trenches for safety and compliance
- Maintains streetlights and traffic signals
- Oversees Public Shade Tree program, including pruning, removal and plantings
- Street Utility Trench safety and repair
- Streetlights and Traffic Signals
- Public Shade Trees
