Pittsfield's first dog park is a fenced in, off-leash area where well-behaved dogs can exercise, run free, and socialize in a clean, safe environment without endangering people, property or wildlife.

Location: Within Burbank Park (500 Lakeway Drive, Pittsfield), on the south side of the main access driveway immediately off of Valentine Road.

Volunteers are being sought for the Friends of the Pittsfield Dog Park
The city is seeking volunteers to join a new group, Friends of the Pittsfield Dog Park, which will help to support the park’s goals for all users.

There are two ways to get involved:
1. Take on a Leadership role in the group
or
2. Be a member of the group and receive information about events, clean up days, etc.

Volunteers do not have to be residents of Pittsfield.
