The City of Pittsfield recently began a Bicycle Facilities Master Plan project with the intention of developing a City-wide bicycle facilities network. The below is a set of links designed to provide more information, solicit public comment, and survey community needs. The first public meeting for this project will be held via Zoom and is scheduled for 6:00 pm on Wednesday, October 21. Please click here to access the Zoom link. If you plan to only access the meeting by phone, please call (301) 715-8592 and enter Webinar ID 985 3522 7143.
For more information, please visit the project website here.
The website provides project background and analysis of existing conditions conducted to date. The website also contains opportunities for you to provide initial feedback through an interactive map and a public input survey.
You can visit the interactive map here to show us where you currently bike, where you would like to see improvements or new bicycle projects, or places in the city you’d like the project team to review.
The comments and suggestions you place on this map will help the project team identify and prioritize improvements to develop the bicycle network in Pittsfield.
Thanks for your input!
Please take the public input survey here to help inform recommendations for new bicycle facilities, initiatives, policies, and programs focused on improving safety, connectivity, and accessibility for all.
