The City of Pittsfield is pleased to announce its virtual spring art contest open to city youth and adults. The contest is being held in lieu of the city’s annual Eggstravaganza Egg Scramble which will not be held this year due to ongoing COVID-19 health and safety protocols.
Beginning March 1, submit your best coloring page or drawing!
Prizes will be awarded for winners of the different categories.

Details for Contests:
- Must be a Resident of Pittsfield
- Deadline for entry: Sunday, March 28
- Judging will occur: During the week of Monday, March 29
(Judges to include City Staff and local “celebrities”)
- Winners will be announced: Friday, April 2nd on Pittsfield Parks Recreation Facebook page
- All submissions will be property of the City of Pittsfield and can be used in future promotions
How do I enter?
- Email a photo to contest@cityofpittsfield.org with the Subject: Spring Art Contest
- Must include the following information with the photo:
- Name
- Address
- Phone Number
- Age & Contest Category

Coloring Contest
There are two age categories: Pre-K, K—2

Step 2. Then, take a picture and enter it in our contest!
Each age category will have one winner; each category winner will receive $50 each.
Rules:
- Must receive your picture, name, age & category (choose Pre-K or K-2), address and contact information via email
- Must be child’s own work
- One entry per person

Art Contest
What are some of your favorite Spring things?
Create a Spring themed piece of art, take a picture and enter it in our contest!
There are 3 categories: Grades 3-6, Teen, Adult (18+)
Each age category will have one winner; two category winners will receive $50 each. The adult (18+) winner will receive $75.
Rules:
- Must receive your picture, name, age & category (choose Grade 3-6, Teen, or Adult), address and contact information via email
- Must be original (your own work)
- One entry per person
