Parking in the City of Pittsfield
We work hard to ensure that those who live, work, and play in our city have a good parking experience in Pittsfield.
Starting in November 2016, the city will implement multi-space meters throughout designated areas in downtown. The new parking meter plan is designed to enhance parking availability in the city's high traffic downtown areas, while also maintaining nearly 400 spaces for free parking on side streets in downtown. We expect this initiative to continue to provide patrons in our city with a range of convenient options. Please click here to see a how-to video on the new parking meters. Additionally, the city offers permit parking for those interested. For more information, please contact the Department of Public Utilities Administration Office at 413-499-9330 to verify space availability in the parking lot of your interest.
