The Department of Veterans’ Affairs Central Western MA Healthcare System, in conjunction with the City of Pittsfield Veterans’ Service Office, will host a town hall meeting on Thursday, June 22 for veterans and their families. The event will be held 5- 7:30 p.m. in the auditorium at Reid Middle School, 950 North St.
Medical Center Director John P. Collins and Jim Clark, the city’s Director of Veterans Services, will be in attendance to address questions and provide information relating to VA healthcare, benefits and claims. VA staff members will also be present to provide information on VA programs and services. Veterans can apply for VA healthcare or check on the status of a VA claim “on-the-spot.” Please bring a copy of your DD-214 (discharge papers) for the healthcare application.
