Pearl Harbor Remembrance Day Ceremony 2017

The Pearl Harbor Remembrance Day Ceremony will be held at 10 a.m. on Thursday, Dec. 7 at the Veterans Memorial located off of South Street in Pittsfield.  

The Berkshire Veterans Coalition, along with other volunteers, Color Guards, and Honor Guards will be in attendance. 

National Pearl Harbor Remembrance Day, which is observed annually in the United States on Dec. 7, is designated to remember and honor the 2,403 victims who were killed in the Japanese surprise attack on Pearl Harbor on Dec. 7, 1941. On Aug. 23, 1994, Congress designated Dec. 7 as a day of remembrance.
