Berkshire Athenaeum offers Art program: Create your own Van Gogh masterpiece!

The Berkshire Athenaeum, Pittsfield’s Public Library, is hosting a Pastel Painting workshop presented by Gregory Maichack on Tuesday, September 24, 6 – 8 pm. Participants will create their own rendition of Van Gogh’s much-loved masterpiece, Starry Night.

Gregory John Maichack is a portraitist and painter working primarily in pastels. Maichack teaches his techniques in workshops throughout New England. This free program is available for adults and teens 16 or older; all materials are provided.

This program is offered as part of Boom! Next Chapter, an initiative providing information and ideas on pursuing a healthy, creative and productive retirement for the generation born 1946 - 1964.
