Pittsfield’s Just for Kicks Program Returns!
(PITTSFIELD) - The City of Pittsfield Department of Community Development Recreation Program has announced the return of the Just for Kicks program. The City of Pittsfield and Pittsfield Soccer Club have teamed up for this FREE, program which features instructors from Sports Domain Academy introducing and teaching youth the basics of soccer including the components, rules, and etiquette.
Mayor Bianchi stated, “As school comes to an end it is time to start looking for summer activities. Pittsfield’s Recreation Program offers many free, fun and safe activities for kids. I encourage parents to check our City website and the Pittsfield Parks Recreation Facebook page for updates on free youth programing.”
Just for Kicks will be a week long program July 6 to July 10, 2015 for Pittsfield children ages 5 to 10. The program will run from 9:00 am to 12:00 pm that Monday through Friday at Clapp Park on West Housatonic Street.
Pre-registration is required, and is first come, first serve; the number of participants will be limited to 60. Forms are available at the Department of Community Development in room 205 of City Hall, or online at www.cityofpittsfield.org.
