CITY OF PITTSFIELD

MEMORIAL DAY PARADE & CEREMONY 2015

 

Memorial Day Parade Starting at 9:00am

 Line-up on Fenn St., Pearl St. & Allen St. will be at 8:00 – 8:45am and will be stepping off from the Pittsfield City Hall on Fenn Street at 9:00am sharp. We will be proceeding to North Street turning right and heading north, taking a left on Wahconah Street to the Pittsfield Cemetery. A Ceremony will follow around 10:00am. 

Opening remarks by: Mayor Daniel Bianchi 

The Key Note Speaker will be: Director of Veteran Services: James H. Clark 

The Berkshire Veterans Coalition, along with other volunteers, High School marching Bands, Boy & Girl Scout troops, Color Guards, Honor Guards, Pittsfield City Council will be in attendance. 

Singing the America the Beautiful will be: F. Martha Green 

Poppies will be placed in the urn for each Veterans name read, by all the Berkshire Veterans Coalition Commanders or their Representatives. 

The names of all the Veterans who have passed from 2014-2015 The Role of Honor will be read by: Fr. Peter Gregory
