RSVP Open House and Meet and Greet with New Director

The Retired Senior Volunteer Program (R.S.V.P.) will be holding an open house on
Friday April 10th from 1:00 pm to 3:00 pm to introduce Cheryl Whalen, the new Director of RSVP, to welcome potential volunteers and to share information about new RSVP volunteer offerings. Information about R.S.V.P.’s longstanding and ongoing opportunities will also be provided.

Mayor Bianchi stated, “Cheryl is a strong addition to the City and her prior work experience will benefit R.S.V.P.  The senior volunteer program already provides amazing services to Pittsfield and Berkshire County.  However, it has the potential to expand and have an even greater impact on our community.  I am thankful to all of our R.S.V.P. volunteers and enjoy hosting our own volunteers, the City Hall Ambassadors.”

R.S.V.P. places persons ages 55 and up as volunteers throughout Berkshire County. Volunteers are able to contribute their skills and lifetime experiences, to help others, be productive and grow personally.  Light refreshments will be served.

Please RSVP to 499-9345 if you plan to attend, space is limited.
