Mayor Bianchi and the Department of Community Development Recreation Program are happy to announce the return of the “Just for Kicks” program. The City of Pittsfield, and the Pittsfield Soccer Club have teamed up for this FREE, program which features instructors from Sports Domain Academy. The instructors will both introduce the sport of soccer and coach the participants on soccer basics, including key components of the game, rules, and sports etiquette.
Mayor Bianchi said, “Getting outdoors and being active is important for children and adults. As children will be on summer vacation, Just for Kicks, is the perfect summertime activity: it is fun, engaging and free.”

Who: Pittsfield youth, ages 5-10
When: 9:00 am-12:00 pm
Session 1, July 7th to July 9th,
Session 2, July 10th to July 11th
Where: Session 1, Clapp Park (located on West Housatonic Street)
Session 2, Pitt Park (located on John Street)
Pre-registration is required, and is first come, first serve; the number of participants will be limited to 60 per session (children may only attend one session). Registration forms are available at the Department of Community Development in room 205 of City Hall, or online at www.cityofpittsfield.org.
