The City of Pittsfield announces the availability of online bill paying and viewing for real estate, motor vehicle excise and personal property taxes and water/sewer fees. Bills are available for viewing and/or payment 24 hours per day, 7 days per week. This not only saves money but contributes to saving the environment.
The City will be able to use the branded, secure payment portal for multiple types of bills, simplifying online payments for citizens and saving them time and money.
There were several key factors that led the City to select Invoice Cloud:
- The service is simple, easy to use and optional for citizens
- Citizens have easy access to replicas of their bills online
- The secure service allows electronic check and credit card payments and is Payment Card Industry (PCI) compliant
- Registration is not required to view a current bill and make a payment
Invoice Cloud CEO Bob Bennett declares, “The e-bill train has left the station and a rapidly growing group of forward thinking municipal and utility clients have already jumped aboard.” A small sampling of the many Invoice Cloud customers in Massachusetts includes Barnstable, Brookline, Harwich, Hingham, Holyoke Gas & Electric, Marblehead Municipal Light District, Maynard, New Bedford, Somerville, and Walpole.
