Pittsfield is a wonderful place to live, work, learn, run a business and raise a family. I’ve done all of those things in Pittsfield, and my life has been enriched by the experience. I can’t imagine a better place where Theresa and I could have met, married and raised our children.

We have a growing downtown, a dynamic community college, strong businesses, a skilled workforce, distinctive neighborhoods, beautiful lakes, and a unique history.  This is a great community, built with hard work, commitment, sacrifice, and shared values.  It is a privilege to serve as your mayor.

I stand for aggressive economic development; for the highest educational standards for our children; for a city that is not weakened by crime and for services that enhance our quality of life. Please join me and my administration as we roll up our sleeves and begin working to achieve these goals.
