Curbside Bulky Waste Collection Program

The City provides residents with a Bulky Waste Collection Program for the disposal of large and bulky items.  Residents must purchase a bulky waste sticker for $15.00 per item and affix it to the item to be disposed of.  You may place the item(s) out at curbside for collection on the morning of your scheduled pickup day by 7:00 AM.  Please refer to our Curbside Collection Route Map or Curbside Collection Route Listing to find which day of the week your trash collection is scheduled for.  Please do not block sidewalks, driveways or roadways.  All items placed at the curbside* as part of the Bulky Waste Collection Program must display a prepaid sticker so that they are identifiable as collectable by the City’s waste hauler, Republic Services.  If a bulky waste item does not have the City sticker then the City’s hauler will affix a rejection sticker on the item, which will indicate why the item was not collected.

Please note:  If the bulky item remains at the curbside with a rejection sticker affixed to it, you will be subject to a fine.  You must either remove the bulky item or purchase a sticker to ensure its removal.

Here is a sample of the bulky items that you may purchase a sticker for:
  • Broken-down wood furniture
  • Automobile tires
  • Oversize plastic toys
  • Wooden posts or fencing
  • Upholstered chairs and couches
  • Mattresses and box springs
  • Carpet rolls (2 foot diameter by 4 foot lengths)
