Berkshire Community College Wellness Day
The day will be filled with activities such as chair massages, sample exercise classes and food sampling, along with educational booths on how to care for yourself and loved ones.
The event is free to the public, with nominal fees for massages and exercise classes. All proceeds of the event go to EMPOWERSCI.org. A non-profit organization which was established to enable individuals with spinal cord injuries to lead happier, more meaningful and independent lives. The program involves formal physical, occupational and recreational therapies and — more importantly — focuses on peer mentoring, rehabilitation counseling and informal knowledge-sharing between individuals who are going through similar experiences and challenges.

The Central County Opioid/Heroin Work Group will hold its monthly meeting on Wednesday, March 29th, 9 – 11 AM, Trinity Episcopal Church, 88 Walker Street, Lenox, MA. Presentations from Pittsfield Fire Department, North Adams Ambulance Service and Berkshire Medical Center will focus on Naloxone Access and post-overdose engagement. Open discussion will follow.
