The Controy Pavilion is located in Burbank Park on the shores of beautiful Onota Lake. The Controy is used for many events from June 1st through September 15th including Live on the Lake every Wednesday evening from the first week in July through the end of August and the Berkshire County Central Relay for Life event annually at the end of June. The Pavilion is also used for many other events such as family reunions, fund raisers, business parties and fishing derbies.
The users of the facilities will be required to submit all of the forms in the Controy Pavilion Rental Packet to the office of the Building Maintenance Department within a week immediately following the confirmation of the reservation along with all required fees and deposits or the reservation will be considered cancelled.
Controy Pavilion: A covered closed facility offering picnic table seating for 100 plus, handicapped accessible restroom facilities, a full kitchen with an electric oven, gas stove, refrigerator, sink, gas grill and microwave. Swimming is permitted, but this an unsupervised area with no lifeguards on duty. Horseshoes and volleyball are also available for use by the attendees as well as a playground in the adjacent grounds. There is plenty of parking and a large grassy area for fun and frolicking overlooking the lake.
Availability: This facility is available for use from June 1st through September 15th between the hours of 12:00 PM and 8:00 PM. If earlier or later hours are required, please note on the application for consideration.
