I find that when people are relaxed without a photographer sticking a lens in their face, they tend to open up and let their personalities shine. It is in this moment that I try to capture people, when they're unrestricted and being natural and I do what I can to keep that type of mood.

My name is Autumn Yyriol Doyle (Ni Dubhghaill in the Irish). I am an artist and musician living in and from Co. Berkshyre in the marshy highlands of western Massachusetts. Shape-shifting, transformation, shamanism, myth and mysticism hold great interest to me. Although creating primarily in photography i am by no means limited to it. The aforementioned ideals permeate my work in all of its forms; from painting and photography to conceptual installations and stacks of stones hidden deep in the forest. Musique too has been an integral part of my being. For the past nine years heading the only "Acoustic Doom" band, Forever Autumn, which works in tandem with my visual endeavors to further a life in flux, of shamanism, and gender-transition.
